How is a player's value calculated?

A player’s initial price is based upon their fantasy scoring from the previous years, expert panel adjustment for circumstances considered pertinent (e.g. a new player from Super League who will likely start and play 80 minutes each week), the normalisation of prices against the salary cap (e.g. a basement price) and other factors. We do not provide exact details regarding how player prices change from there on, other than to say that player price changes are based on performance with most recent games having the largest influence.
